by atleta, 5 years agoDisabling doesn't work so I can't test the websites I'm working on in Firefox. Also, the log just stays empty even after months of use and it behaves weirdly on stackoverflow. (It pops up and flashes every single time I visit the site as if it was handling a consent popup, but there is no consent popup to handle on every single visit. And I have already consented to them before even installing consentomatic.) Otherwise nice work.

posted 5 years agoIm not sure why disabling the addon does not work, when on a site you want to disable the addon for, click the addon icon and uncheck "Keep running on this site?"

- Rated 1 out of 5by MollyInanna, 5 days agoBreaks Firefox because it calls `window.focus()` in ConsentEngine.js (around line 344) after it finishes clicking through a cookie banner. Focus jumps to tabs as they finish, one by one, and it also takes focus out of search boxes mid-typing on sites like Amazon. Reported on GitHub as issues #553, #557, #596 and #601, none fixed.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Jaro, 15 days agoIt's pretty good for most websites, but it does for example struggle with news websites like the german "n-tv" (It gets stuck in a loop and you have to fill out the preferences by hand (and therefore multiple times)).
