by Infinite, 5 years agoThe extension itself is relatively good, but lacks the customizability of Midnight Lizard and like that extension, tends to reduce performance quite a bit.
A surprise when uninstalling the extension is that while most developers usually either show the sad emoticon while saying they're sorry and asking for feedback, Dark Reader merely wishes good luck. Hits worse than a sad face.
I genuinely support the extension, but Midnight Lizard offers a lot more customization, even considering the slow-down.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Sander, 20 days agoI stand corrected for me previous review: one website that was giving me the biggest of troubles was attempting to do its own dark-mode, saw this app working: and both doubled down and looped in itself, creating weird artifacts that (Well, I think I was seeing the matrix..).
Whitelisted the site, reset the website to use its own darkmode, and everything works great again.

Thanks for letting us people with conditions and no money suffer more now than we do already, very nice of you!!
