by axemetaphor, 4 years agoHiii, I love this add-on, it's the best one for Dark Mode in google docs that exists, but I'm writing this to let you know that in the newest version (as of writing, 0.6.1), there's a glitch where the top bar of the document (where the title and dropdowns such as File, Edit, View, etc are) does not go dark like the rest of the page. I have a screenshot of this glitch but can't seem to attach it, if you'd like to take a look at it. I've tried closing and reopening the doc, turning the extension off and on again, and even uninstalling/reinstalling it, and it persists. 5 stars otherwise, since I'm sure this will be fixed soon, and it's not like it inhibits my writing, it's just a little distracting.

There are only a few things that still look bad on Google Docs, such as notifications, and the icons in the equation toolbar. Besides that, though, this extention is perfect. I love to use it with the Vim-for-Docs extention.

After last update, right click drop down menu also applied dark mode!!
only downside of this addon is little bit laggy. thats all
